Joyanna Mitchell

Hometown: Beaumont, AB
Joyanna Mitchell is an energetic, fun-loving person who is always interested in meeting new people. She completed a Bachelor of Management in Edmonton, Alberta, graduating with distinction and among the top of her class.
She is excited and motivated to establish herself, and to have a rewarding career in Human Resources Management. One day Joyanna hopes to own her own Human Resources Consulting Firm and spend her free time helping to increase literacy rates in areas of need.
In her spare time she enjoys modeling, and staying physically active. Her love of travel has taken Joyanna backpacking across Western Europe, to the gorgeous beaches of Mexico, and to the amazing skyline of Hong Kong. She would like to continue traveling and spend more time learning about local cultures and people.
If chosen to be Miss Universe Canada, Joyanna will be a positive and encouraging role model. She will dedicate her time and efforts towards helping various charities and organizations with a literacy focus. Joyanna’s love of reading has been an inspiration to her and she hopes that with Miss Universe Canada she can help bring the wonderful adventures and endless possibilities of books to areas with low literacy rates.
